AWARD FOR ARTS & HUMANITIES


About

Seminar participants selected for the Arts and Humanities award are leaders who are working to advance the arts and humanities in society. Leaders receiving the Arts & Humanities award exemplify a commitment to curiosity, honesty, and humanity.


Eligibility

Available to leaders from non-profit, local government, journalism, the arts, clergy, and other similar organizations. Demonstrated financial need is also taken into consideration. Selected applicants are required to participate in a 15-minute screening call.
 
AWARD FOR BUSINESS

About
The Business Award is given to leaders from the business community who strive to ground their leadership in vision, wisdom, and understanding of the complexities of business in society. 

Eligibility
Available to leaders from the business community, large non-profits, other similar organizations, and corporate leaders. Demonstrated financial need is also taken into consideration. Selected applicants are required to participate in a 15-minute screening call.


THE INTERNATIONAL AWARD-invite only note?

About

International participants are critical to the seminar mosaic of each Aspen Executive Seminar. The International Awards supports leaders from outside the United States in bringing a global perspective. Eligibility Available to leaders from the international community, including American leaders living abroad and expats. Demonstrated financial need is also taken into consideration. Invitation code required.

HOW TO APPLY
  • Complete the scholarship application
  • Ensure that your scholarship application and all supporting documents are submitted before the relevant deadline:
Round 1 deadline: January 31, 2026 (Award determinations shared in February 2026) 
Round 2 deadline: March 30, 2026 (Award determinations shared in April 2026)
Round 3 deadline: July 31, 2026 (Award determinations shared in August 2026)

  • Selected applicants to the Business and Arts and Humanities Awards are required to participate in a 15-minute phone screen. Our team will reach out to all applicants within 1 week of application submission to schedule the call.
  • All award applicants will be notified with a decision within 2 weeks of the application deadline.

Professional Information and Leadership Qualifications





Institutional Endorsement Guidelines
  1. Letter should endorse the participant’s application and affirm both the financial need and the value of attendance for the individual’s professional and personal development. For example an outline of the financial status of your organization, professional development fund availability, and a guarantee of support for the tuition not covered by award amount.
  2. Letter must be signed by a person authorized to guarantee payment of balance of funds
  3. If personal funds will be used, attach signed letter guaranteeing allotment of funds

Payment Requirements
All award recipients are required to provide a nonrefundable $1,500 deposit to hold your space in
the seminar. Deposit will be applied to the full balance.

All award recipients are required to follow the Aspen Executive Seminar Transfer and Cancellation PolicyVisit the Seminar Fees, Transfer and Cancellation Policy page to learn more. 

121+ days before the first day of the seminar

  • Transfer Policy: $500 fee in addition to paid deposit
  • Cancellation Policy: refund of paid deposit

120-46 days before the first day of the seminar:

  • Transfer Policy: $7,225 transfer fee in addition to  paid deposit
  • Cancellation Policy: No refund of paid deposit

45 days or less before the seminar:

  • Transfer Policy: $11,000 transfer fee in addition to paid deposit
  • Cancellation Policy: No refund of paid deposit
